Please know that we understand and are sensitive to the wide range of emotions that you most likely are experiencing simply by exploring our website. We talk with families every day who are struggling with anger, guilt, remorse, hope, sadness, frustration, and maybe some relief. All of these emotions are completely normal. They demonstrate that you do care and that you haven’t given up. Please take a moment to fill out our online application or just give us a call and let us take care of the rest of the details for you.

We offer a flexible length of stay that will vary depending on your family and child’s particular needs. The minimum length of stay is 6 months with the ability to receive longer treatment as needed and on a completely individualized basis. This flexibility allows you to see how your child will respond to treatment first without having to be locked into a long-term contract. Once your child is in the program, you and the treatment team can determine the appropriate length of stay based on your teen’s progress throughout the program.

    Do You Qualify?

We are highly selective about the students we will admit to the ranch and the families we will work with. KW Legacy Ranch is not appropriate for all families. We have a very limited number of beds available, and we are very aware of the types of families and students that will respond best to our clinical approach. Our goals throughout the enrollment process are both to ensure that KW Legacy Ranch is the absolute best placement for your child and to preserve the safety of our current students.

To see if you qualify for admission, please call us to help us better understand your specific goals and allow us to determine your exact needs as a family. If you are more comfortable filling out a standard online application, then you can do that here.

Once we have received your online application, the information will then be reviewed by our team of professionals including the Executive Director who has many years of experience and has reviewed literally thousands of applicants over the years. He knows just what to look for in an appropriate family and student. If beneficial, we will include other professionals you think may be able to help with this assessment. When all the information has been gathered and reviewed, we will let you know our professional determination and offer suggestions specific to your situation.

If your student does qualify for admission, then he or she can enroll at any time as long as there is an opening. Because we maintain an extremely limited environment of only 20 beds which allows us to successfully individualize each student’s treatment, there are many times when we are completely full. If there is no space available and you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please fill out the Waiting List Form.

If your son or daughter doesn’t qualify for our program, then we can assist in making suggestions of other programs that may be a better fit. If you are looking for something else, then we have no problem referring to professionals that we have worked with in your specific area that may be able to help. So call us now and take advantage of the years of experience, knowledge, and contacts we are more than willing to offer you.
